Hatred (or hate) is an intense feeling of dislike. It may occur in a wide variety of contexts, from hatred of inanimate objects or animals, to hatred of oneself or other people, entire groups of people, people in general, existence, or everything. Though not always, hatred is often associated with feelings of anger. Philosophical viewsPhilosophers have offered many influential definitions of hatred. René Descartes viewed hate as an awareness that something is bad combined with an urge to withdraw from it. Baruch Spinoza defined hate as a type of pain that is due to an external cause. Aristotle viewed hate as a desire for the annihilation of an object that is incurable by time. Finally, David Hume believed that hate is an irreducible feeling that is not definable at all. Psychoanalytic viewsIn psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud defined hate as an ego state that wishes to destroy the source of its unhappiness. More recently, the Penguin Dictionary of Psychology defines hate as a "deep, enduring, intense emotion expressing animosity, anger, and hostility towards a person, group, or object." Me, I'd feel outraged that degenerate hoodlums like them would want to inflict their messages of harm, violence, and hate at my people in my town, MY TOWN!!! They think they're superior because of their skin color is pure or they think that their beliefs are true. But, I want your opinion on how you would feel about something like this. If they actually break the law, that would be a different story. In Ohio, we have KKK members in the rural areas. However, I live in a city where we seldom see them. Even so, they have murdered much less people than the gangs in my city. Gangs are the ones that I'm worried about. Drive-by shootings. And lately they've been targeting funerals! This concerns me much more than some rural people with racist beliefs because the gangs are actually taking lives. But being stationed somewhere around the globe, then that would most likely cause a bad marriage if the spouse can't handle it. But once you sign that contract, you are in. The only good way out is to serve your time, and maybe try to stay near home, unlikely but possible, and the only ways out of the military that will get you out the fastest are stupid things that will get you a dis-honorable discharge and then no one will want to hire you.
