How old is my 22 cal. (model 81-dl-22 cal-s-l-lr)?
Q. its a marlin model 81-dl-22 cal-s-l-lr i wanna know how old it is. i know its gotta be atleast about 70 years or more. anyone know anything?

A. the Marlin Model 81-DL rifle was introduced in 1941 and manufactured up until the start of WWII. Model 81 production was resumed in 1945 and continued until 1964 so your rifle could have been manufactured either before or after WWII. The 81-DL was a modernized version of Marlin's earlier Model 81-B, it had a plastic trigger guard, aperture sight on the receiver and hooded bead at the muzzle. Rifles manufactured before WWII had a broad semi-beaver tail forend, post-war rifles had a standard forend and rifles made after 1957 had a walnut Monte Carlo half-stock and a new streamlined trigger guard. There is not a lot of collector interest in this model, I would expect to see one offered at a gunshow in the $100 range.

I have several antique guns where do I find the age of them on the internet?
Q. They are: Winchester model 67A with NO serial number .22 cal Winchester shotgun model 20-410 Stevens Model 87A .22 cal Marlin model 81 .22 cal I am looking for the age not the value these guns have no monitary value to me they are senitmental. They used to be my grandfathers. I got them after he passed away. The guns are: Winchester model 67A .22 cal Winchester model 20-410 shotgun Stevens model 87A .22 cal All are in working order and in good condition EXCEPT the 410's barrel is very pitted. It does not matter to me it will not be shot anyway it was my grandmothers. As with the rest of the gun I got it when she passed.

A. Your 67A was manufactured sometime between 1934 to 1963, there is no way of narrowing it down any more. Look up the model 20 here: You can probably contact marlin about the .22. As for the stevens, I have no idea.
